Empires Series: 4‑Week Study on Trust and Allegiance

We live in a world filled with little empires—school, sports, social media and more—each demanding our loyalty. Empires invites students into the story of Daniel, Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego to see what it looks like to pledge allegiance to the One True King. By exploring these ancient stories, teens learn how to stand strong, trust God and honor Christ in any environment.

Series Overview

• Week 1 – Listen to who’s really in charge (Daniel 1:3‑16): Daniel resolved not to defile himself with the king’s food, proving that God—not Babylon—was his authority.
• Week 2 – Trust who’s always in control (Daniel 2:1‑49): God empowered Daniel to interpret Nebuchadnezzar’s dream, revealing that even the greatest human king is under God’s rule.
• Week 3 – Always stand up for what’s right (Daniel 3:1‑30): Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego refused to bow to an idol, choosing obedience to God even when their lives were on the line.
• Week 4 – Never stop praying (Daniel 6:1‑28): Daniel’s commitment to prayer landed him in a lions’ den, but God rescued him and showed that prayer really matters because only He can save.
