Roadmap Series: 4‑Week Youth Lesson on Following Jesus

Following Jesus isn’t a one‑time decision—it’s a journey. Roadmap equips students with the essential practices they need to stay on course. Through this four‑week youth ministry curriculum, teens will discover what it means to trust in Christ, engage with Scripture and prayer, build gospel‑centered community and live on mission.

Series Overview

• Week 1 – Follow (1 John 2): Being a Christian sounds like just believing sometimes. But Scripture couldn’t be more clear that faith in our heart requires that we follow with our feet.
• Week 2 – Know the Truth (John 8:31-32): Teach students how Scripture and prayer guide us. They’ll practice reading the Bible, listening to God and talking to Him daily, learning that these habits keep us on course.
• Week 3 – Redefine (John 15:1-5): Following Jesus isn’t meant to be done alone. This session highlights the importance of spiritual community, accountability and encouragement as students commit to journey together as part of the vine.
• Week 4 – Mission (John 15:7-8): Help students see that discipleship leads to disciple‑making. They’ll discover their calling to serve others, share the gospel and use their gifts for God’s Kingdom.
