Looking for more information on some of our upcoming sermon series? Depending on when a series is set to release, we don’t always have all of the components created yet. But this page will give you a high level overview of what we do know about the youth ministry curriculum we have currently in production.
2D Series – 3 weeks on Community
Gospel Lens: God is personal, not just perfect.
Teenagers spend a lot of time in the 2D world. There they can find entertainment, information, and to some extent, connection. But this reliance upon the 2D world leads some students to believe some lies. And these lies hold them back from experiencing the fullness of 3D Christian community.
Reframe Series – 4 weeks on Mental Health
Gospel Lens: Peace is interlaced with grace.
If there’s one thing students want, it’s for their faith to help them in the area of mental health. But sometimes it feels like the two are disconnected. Students can absolutely get to a place of peace, but it’s going to require them to reframe some aspects of their faith.
Big Picture Series – 5 weeks on Conflict
Gospel Lens: The cross is bigger than one moment.
The hardest part about navigating conflict is that it’s all-consuming. Conflict draws you into the details. When students are able to back up and see the big picture as God has in the context of the gospel, they’ll navigate conflict in a far healthier way.
Stage Right Series – 6 weeks on Identity
Gospel Lens: Your life is a scene in an act of God’s play.
If life is like a play, our sense of identity is a lot like the stage. So as we study the life of David over the next six weeks, we’re going to look through a few gospel lenses to see if we can’t get our stage right.
Here For It Series – 4 weeks on Transformation
Gospel Lens: Perfection can wait, and it’s already here.
It’s so cool that students who believe in Jesus will go to heaven when they die. That’ll be really good news to them when death is looking a bit closer. But in the adolescent life stage, teenagers need a God who’s here for it right here, right now, in all of the things they’ll experience between now and then. This series explores the gospel reality that God is present, available, and interested in what they’re going through now.
Peripheral Series – 4 weeks on Goals
Gospel Lens: Knowing the King overshadows everything.
When you’re using your peripheral, you can still see what you need to see while keeping half an eye on things that matter but don’t matter as much. In life, many of us have placed goals for ourselves and our lives front and center that should be peripheral, and our tendency to do this is holding us back from seeing life the way we were meant to.
