Privacy Policy
Last updated: August 20, 2026
G Shades, LLC (“G Shades,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect through youthministrycurriculum.com and related services, how we use and share that information, and the choices available to you.
Information We Collect
We collect information you provide when you place an order, begin a free trial, create an account, subscribe to a curriculum plan or email list, submit a contact form, schedule a call, or otherwise communicate with us. This may include:
- Your name, email address, and phone number.
- Your church name, youth ministry size, and how you heard about G Shades.
- Account credentials and information associated with your G Shades account.
- Order, subscription, download, and customer-service history.
- Messages, questions, feedback, and other information you choose to send us.
Our website, hosting provider, WordPress, WooCommerce, and security systems may also automatically process limited technical information needed to operate and protect the website, such as IP address, browser or device type, timestamps, requested pages, and server or security logs.
How We Use Information
We may use personal information to:
- Process orders, free trials, payments, subscriptions, refunds, and account access.
- Deliver curriculum, downloads, account notices, and customer support.
- Contact free-trial users personally by email, phone, or text to help with access, answer questions, and discuss whether G Shades may fit their ministry.
- Send newsletters, product announcements, and other marketing communications when you subscribe or when otherwise permitted by applicable law.
- Maintain customer, prospect, transaction, and communication records.
- Understand how customers find G Shades, evaluate sales and customer-service activity, and improve our products, website, operations, and follow-up processes.
- Prevent fraud, protect the website, enforce our agreements, resolve disputes, and comply with legal, tax, accounting, and regulatory obligations.
Payments
Payments are processed by third-party payment providers made available through our checkout, such as Stripe and any additional payment options displayed at the time of purchase. G Shades does not receive or store complete payment-card numbers. Payment providers process payment information under their own privacy policies and security practices.
Email, Phone, and Text Communications
We use Mailchimp to store contact records and manage email communications. Completing a purchase or free-trial order may create a contact record in Mailchimp even if you do not subscribe to our general marketing list. We maintain subscription status separately and use contact information to provide order-related messages, requested free-trial follow-up, customer service, and other communications permitted by law.
If you subscribe to marketing emails, you may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in an email. We may retain limited information necessary to honor an unsubscribe request. Personal free-trial calls and texts are sent directly by the owner of G Shades rather than through an automated texting platform. You may ask us to stop calling or texting you at any time.
Cookies and Similar Technologies
Our website uses cookies and similar technologies that are necessary for core website functions, including shopping-cart operation, checkout, account login, security, and remembering information needed to provide a service you request.
G Shades does not currently use website cookies or pixels for advertising, retargeting, or behavioral profiling, and we do not currently use Google Analytics to analyze individual website visits. If our use of analytics or advertising technologies changes, we will update this Privacy Policy and provide any notice or choices required by applicable law.
How We Share Information
We do not sell, rent, or trade personal information. We share or make information available only as reasonably necessary to operate G Shades, provide requested products and services, or comply with legal obligations. Service providers may include:
- Website hosting, WordPress, WooCommerce, and website-security providers.
- Payment processors and payment-option providers.
- Mailchimp for contact records and email communications.
- Google Workspace for business records, email, and our customer and prospect CRM.
- Dropbox for digital curriculum delivery and file access.
- Calendly for optional call scheduling and YouTube for video content or tutorials.
These providers may process information on our behalf or under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information if reasonably necessary to comply with law, respond to valid legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate fraud or security concerns, or complete a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, or sale of all or part of the business.
Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide products and account access, maintain business and transaction records, support customers, analyze and improve our operations, prevent fraud, comply with legal and accounting obligations, enforce agreements, and resolve disputes.
Because customer and prospect records form part of the operational history of G Shades, some records may be retained for an extended period when they continue to support legitimate business analysis, customer service, purchase history, or organizational decision-making. We may also retain limited information necessary to document consent, honor unsubscribe requests, or establish, exercise, or defend legal claims.
Data Security
We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures appropriate to the nature of the information we maintain. These measures include limiting access to customer and prospect information and relying on established service providers for payment processing, website operations, file delivery, and business records. No website, storage system, or method of electronic transmission can be guaranteed completely secure.
Your Choices and Privacy Requests
You may contact us to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information associated with you. We will consider and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.
We may retain information when reasonably necessary to complete transactions, preserve account or product access, maintain financial or legal records, prevent fraud, protect security, honor communication preferences, resolve disputes, or exercise legal rights. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights concerning access, correction, deletion, portability, restriction, objection, withdrawal of consent, or complaints to a privacy regulator.
Testimonials and Reviews
We may publish customer reviews, testimonials, church names, logos, photographs, or feedback when we have received permission to do so. If you would like us to reconsider or remove published material associated with you, contact us at the address below.
Third-Party Services and International Processing
Our website may link to or use services operated by other companies. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Some service providers may process or store information in the United States or other countries. As a result, information may be subject to the laws and lawful access requirements of the country where it is processed.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as our services, technologies, or legal obligations change. The date at the top of this page shows when the policy was last updated. Material changes may also be communicated through the website, by email, or through another appropriate notice.
