Base Camp Series: 4‑Week Youth Curriculum on Sex, Dating & Boundaries

Base Camp equips your students to navigate relationships and sexuality with a gospel lens. In a culture that glorifies casual hookups and selfish love, this four‑week series guides teens to discover God’s design for intimacy, commitment and true love. Through teaching and discussion questions, students will learn how healthy dating flows from a heart anchored in Christ.

Series Overview

Each week unpacks a key aspect of relationships and boundaries:

• Week 1 – Romance Is a Reflection (Ephesians 5:31‑32)
  Students see how marriage reflects the gospel story of Christ and His Church. They’ll learn that romance points to a greater love and should mirror God’s sacrificial commitment.
• Week 2 – The Right Person (2 Corinthians 6:14)
  Students explore what it means to be “equally yoked” and discover that the right person for them is someone who loves Jesus even more than they love them. Healthy dating starts with shared faith and values.
• Week 3 – Love Is Hard Work (1 Corinthians 13:4‑7)
  Students learn that marriage and long‑term commitment are unconditional and worth the effort. They’ll discuss communication, forgiveness and perseverance in relationships.
• Week 4 – Complete in Christ (Genesis 1:28; 1 Corinthians 7:32‑35)
  Students discover that their identity and purpose are found in Jesus, whether they’re single or dating. They’ll be challenged to trust God’s timing and to make Christ their ultimate satisfaction.
