Elevate Series: 4‑Week Study on Purpose

Many of us think God exists to help us chase the life we want—like a Lyft driver taking us to our preferred destination. But Paul’s life and Moses’s story show that God’s plans are bigger and better than our own. Series Overview

• Week 1 – God wants more for you than you do (Ephesians 3:13‑20): When our expectations aren’t met, we assume God is holding out on us. Paul knew that the fullness of life is found in Christ, not in getting our own way.
• Week 2 – God is taking you to His destination, not the other way around (Exodus 3:1‑14): Like Moses, we want control and comfort, but God redirects our story toward redemption. He calls us to join His rescue plan, and we discover He knows better.
• Week 3 – Eternal pursuits are better than obvious preferences (Colossians 3:1‑3): We crave tangible signs, but Paul tells us to fix our eyes on things above. Our real life is hidden with Christ, so we pursue what matters for eternity.
• Week 4 – You may get your way along the way (Matthew 6:31‑33): Jesus reminds us that God knows what we need. When we seek His kingdom first, He delights in giving us good things as we go.
