This series reframes spiritual growth as something God actively participates in now, through the presence of the Holy Spirit, the transforming work of Jesus, and a grace that meets students where they are.
Week 1 — Perfection Can Wait, and It’s Already Here (John 16:5–8)
Jesus prepares His disciples for His departure by promising the Holy Spirit. Students learn that while heaven is a future hope, God is not absent from their present. The Holy Spirit ensures that God is actively involved in their growth, conviction, and transformation right now.
Week 2 — Jesus Changes What You’re Here For (Acts 9:1–6, 20–22)
Saul’s encounter with Jesus radically reshapes his priorities. Students examine how what they care about most shapes their decisions, habits, and direction in life, and how meeting Jesus has the power to reorient what they are living for.
Week 3 — Jesus Is Here for Your Perception in the Mirror (Matthew 8:2–4)
Jesus heals a man with leprosy, restoring both his body and his dignity. Students explore how distorted self-perception, whether rooted in pride or shame, can be reshaped through Jesus’ truth, presence, and healing grace.
Week 4 — Jesus Is Here for Them (Matthew 9:9–13)
Jesus calls Matthew and eats with tax collectors and sinners. Students confront the tendency to divide people into categories and learn how the gospel reshapes the way they see others, replacing dismissal with mercy and empathy.
