One Series: 4-Week Youth Group Series on Gospel-Centered Unity

Students live in a world that celebrates independence and often divides over petty differences. But Jesus prayed for us to be one. This series teaches students to see unity through the lens of the gospel and discover how loving God leads us to love others. Over four weeks, they’ll learn that unity is the way God builds His Kingdom and moves His mission forward.

Series Overview

  • Week 1 – The One We Pray to Prayed That We Would Be One (John 17:20‑23) – Hours before the cross, Jesus prayed that His followers would be unified. Students will see that the Kingdom is built through the unity of its people.
  • Week 2 – The More I Love Jesus, the More I Will Love Who Jesus Loves (Mark 12:28‑34) – Loving God means valuing what He values. As students pursue Jesus, they will learn to love the people they once overlooked.
  • Week 3 – Unity Is Found in Community (John 14:25‑26) – Even the Trinity models interdependence. Students will discover that we accomplish the gospel mission together, not alone.
  • Week 4 – When the Groom Returns, He Wants His Bride Unified (Revelation 21:1‑2) – Jesus is coming back for His Church. Students will be challenged to set aside drama and live in anticipation of the ultimate wedding celebration.
