Rise Series: 4-Week Youth Study on Pursuing Jesus

Mark 10 is packed with stories of people encountering Jesus and being challenged to follow Him. This four-week youth ministry curriculum invites students to wrestle with discipleship, surrender, humility and faith as they walk through key passages in this chapter.

Series Overview

• Week 1 – View of You (Mark 10:46-47): Passion in our faith comes when we have a personalized view of Jesus and an accurate view of ourselves and our place before God.
• Week 2 – Voice of Hope (Mark 10:47-48): It’s easy to lose passion in your relationship with God when you let the haters and doubters be loudest. Let the voice of hope be the loudest in the room.
• Week 3 – Resurrection (Mark 10:49-50): The pathway toward Christlikeness is going to be littered with moments where we fall. But because Christ has risen, we can rise when we fall.
• Week 4 – Know What You Want (Mark 10:51-52): Going with the flow is often related to spiritual apathy. If you want to pursue God with greater passion, develop a vision for what you want from Him in your life.
